Glossy Girl. Lip Gloss Makes a Comeback!

Lip Gloss is making a comeback and I couldn't be more excited! The holiday beauty collections coming out are all about glitter and shine and its about time! Don't get me wrong, I love a gorgeous matte lip, but I prefer a glossy look, I'm not into the dried out cracked lip look. Not cute.

History of the Gloss

Lip Gloss was invented by Max Factor in the 1930's. He developed makeup for all the Hollywood starlets in the black and white films. The lip gloss especially helped to make their features pop.

I'm sure we all can reminisce, at least I can, about Bonne Bell Lip Smackers. As a pre-teen this was the it girl thing to have. The first flavored lip gloss came from them in the 1970's.

Currently, I can't get enough of...

Fenty Beauty Cosmic Gloss: If you want some sparkle and shine and that true wet lip look. This is what you want. Loving the shade "spacesuit."

Buxom for Plumping and Gloss: If you want a fuller lip look without the awful tingle that most plumping glosses give you, this is what you need.

Lorac Alter Ego Lip Gloss: If you want a pigmented glassy lip look. These also have a fantastic smell.

These are my favorite go to gloss products. They do NOT have any kind of sticky feeling like some glosses can have.
